Ming Z. Mei is Co-Founder and CEO of GLP, a leading global business builder, owner, developer and operator of logistics real estate, data centers, renewable energy and related technologies. Ming is also Founder and CEO of GLP Capital Partners, a leading global alternative asset manager.

Under Ming’s leadership, GLP has established itself as a premier global asset manager and infrastructure operator focused on the New Economy, managing US$80 billion in assets under management. The company has redefined modern logistics by continuously setting the gold standard for warehousing solutions, empowering clients to enhance their supply chain competitiveness.

Leveraging its investment and operational capabilities, GLP entered data center development in 2018 and is now a top-five player in China. To support clients’ ESG objectives, GLP developed its renewable energy platform spanning rooftop solar, wind, energy storage, and integrated solutions, generating synergies across its logistics and data center operations.

Ming drives GLP’s entrepreneurial approach to technology development and service expansion, creating value across the platform for clients, investors, and stakeholders.

Ming co-founded Eastern Bell Venture Capital and represents investment interests through his various board seats for public and private companies including China Merchants Capital, Li & Fung Group, and Hong Kong Land Holdings Limited. He is also co-founder and investor of Value Retail China, a company that specializes in the development and operation of luxury outlet shopping villages. 

Ming graduated from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a Master of Business Administration. He received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Indiana University School of Business..
