GLP's Hidden Hill Capital Establishes RMB 500 Million Clean Energy Advanced Materials Fund

Shanghai and Singapore, 28 October 2025 – GLP’s Hidden Hill Capital (“Hidden Hill”), the private equity arm of GLP China, announced the closing of a new clean energy advanced materials fund with RMB 500 million of equity commitments. The Fund was anchored by Tianqi Lithium, a leading new energy materials company, and Anhui Advanced Materials Industry Strategic Investment Fund.

The Fund will focus on investing in high-growth, scalable renewable energy related businesses that seek to address the urgent challenge of decarbonization. Potential investments include key raw materials for next-generation batteries, AI-powered cleantech, advanced materials engineering and supply chain and decarbonization related R&D innovations with significant market potential.

The Fund builds on GLP China’s strategic partnership with Tianqi Lithium, a leader in lithium-based new energy solutions listed on both the Shenzhen and Hong Kong Stock Exchanges. Tapping into Hidden Hill’s thriving ecosystem of industry leaders, innovators, and other key stakeholders, the Fund will leverage Hidden Hill’s deep value creation capabilities and industry networks to source and identify high-impact companies that drive innovation and disruptive change in traditional industries.

As at 30 June 2025, Hidden Hill Capital manages over US$4 billion in assets under management across RMB and USD-denominated private equity and venture capital strategies.
